Project Manager (Design)

Location: Hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA or Portland, OR, USA

Salary: $30–$40 USD per hour

What you will do

• Collect, analyze, and document project requirements, scopes, objectives, deliverables, milestones, schedules, and resources.
• Coordinate project execution while monitoring timing, cost, quality, profitability, and expected benefits.
• Communicate project status and requirements across project teams, departments, clients, and suppliers.
• Assess risks, identify potential problems, recommend alternatives, and resolve day-to-day project issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sales and marketing, and purchasing teams on feasibility and approvals.
• Improve workflow management, reporting tools, processes, policies, and team performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related field.
• 4+ years of project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, communication, presentation, budgeting, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and work independently or within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Occasional local, national, or international travel may be required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or Master’s degree.
• Experience influencing peers and senior management.
