TL;DR

What you will do
- Coordinate initiatives across the OSHA Training Institute Education Center, Sunshine Education and Research Center, and USF SafetyFlorida Consultation Program.
- Develop project plans, schedules, timelines, stakeholder plans, and deliverables for SCORE initiatives.
- Monitor milestones, identify barriers, adjust resources, and prepare status reports for program leadership.
- Collect, maintain, evaluate, and report operational and performance data for grants, cooperative agreements, OSHA, and NIOSH.
- Support the development of training, education, consultation, outreach, communication, and resource-sharing initiatives.
- Coordinate communication with faculty, program directors, partner organizations, community agencies, and professional organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in a related field and at least 2 years of project management or coordination experience, or an equivalent combination permitted under applicable employment requirements.
- Experience with project coordination, reporting, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects, competing priorities, and deadlines.
- Strong writing, organization, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools, shared workspaces, spreadsheets, data tracking systems, and reporting platforms.
- Employment eligibility requirements in the United States must be met.
Nice to have
- Masterβs degree in public health, business administration, public administration, occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, education, or a related field.
- Four years of project management experience with a bachelorβs degree, or two years with a masterβs degree.
- Experience with grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, federally funded programs, OSHA, NIOSH, or related academic and technical organizations.
- Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, or a comparable credential.
