Validation Engineer (f/m/d) (Power Management ICs)

What you will do

• Validate analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power management ICs against electrical, functional, and performance specifications.
• Define validation methodologies and plans, ensuring comprehensive feature and test coverage.
• Design and optimize laboratory test setups, custom evaluation boards, and supporting hardware for silicon characterization.
• Develop Python-based automated validation frameworks and measurement scripts.
• Perform data acquisition, statistical analysis, result correlation, and technical reporting.
• Investigate silicon and system-level issues with Design, Applications, Firmware, Product Engineering, Quality, and System teams while supporting NPI schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with bench validation and debugging of mixed-signal or power management ICs.
• Strong laboratory skills with oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, source meters, multimeters, waveform generators, logic analyzers, and thermal equipment.
• Proficiency in Python for laboratory automation, plus board-level analog and digital circuit design expertise for PCB schematics.
• Knowledge of power management applications, strong analytical and debugging skills, and experience supporting NPI from first silicon through production release.
• Excellent verbal and written English is required; occasional international travel is expected.
