Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Poland, Serbia, Cyprus, or Georgia. Hybrid or remote options may be available depending on the role. Work from anywhere in the world is available for up to 45 days per year.

What you will do

• Own infrastructure projects end to end, from intake and Jira setup through delivery, operational hand-over, acceptance, and formal closure.
• Coordinate architects, procurement, logistics, data-center installation, operations, vendors, and product teams across several parallel work streams.
• Manage PoP build-outs, colocation, server and network hardware deployments, capacity expansions, hardware refreshes, decommissioning, migrations, and relocations.
• Estimate and control project budgets, including non-recurring and monthly costs for colocation, connectivity, hardware, and related components.
• Manage schedules, dependencies, critical paths, risks, scope changes, delivery milestones, acceptance testing, and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain Jira status accuracy and improve Kanban flow using lead-time, throughput, and WIP metrics.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of project management experience in infrastructure, data centers, telecom, or IT operations.
• Solid understanding of server and network hardware, racks, PDUs, power and cooling, network topology, switches, cross-connects, and IP addressing.
• Experience administering Jira or an equivalent tracker, including linked tasks, workflows, and project fields.
• Ability to run projects autonomously, manage ambiguity, handle multiple projects, and proactively identify and resolve risks.
• English at B2 level or above for correspondence, documentation, and negotiations with international partners and vendors.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kanban, Lead Time, Throughput, and WIP metrics.
• Experience with multi-vendor projects, formal RACI models, and infrastructure budget estimation.
• Project management certification such as PMP or Kanban Management Professional.
• Experience working in a distributed international team.
