Project Manager (DevOps)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the world, or optional office work in Tbilisi, Georgia

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate the work of one or more DevOps teams, including sprints, releases, incidents, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Balance business requirements with technical implementation across infrastructure and CI/CD processes.
• Support team development, ownership, continuous improvement, DevOps practices, and automation.
• Facilitate standups, planning sessions, retrospectives, cross-functional communication, and blocker resolution.
• Monitor release frequency, recovery time, SLA, and other performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and improve processes.
• Prepare reports on project status, risks, resource utilization, KPIs, and delivery progress.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Middle Project Manager or above in IT, preferably in infrastructure, DevOps, or system administration projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams of system administrators, DevOps engineers, or SREs.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe methodologies.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, development, testing, and operations processes.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SLA, SLO, and MTTR metrics.
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher, including technical documentation and negotiations with English-speaking clients and teams.

• Experience working in distributed, remote, or multinational teams.
