Staff Software Engineer (FinTech)

What you will do

• Drive the technical direction of complex solutions in collaboration with product partners and engineering teams across regions.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable data solutions that meet business requirements.
• Build frameworks for high-performance ingestion and distribution of financial data.
• Develop AI-native products from prototypes into scalable production services.
• Evaluate strategic business and technology decisions and provide guidance across the engineering community.
• Mentor engineers, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and messaging queues.
• Ability to own complex projects involving partners across multiple teams.
• Experience collaborating with and mentoring other engineers.
• Working knowledge of an object-oriented language such as Python, PySpark, or Java, plus relational databases, SQL, NoSQL, OLAP, or data lake architectures.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of financial concepts such as stocks and bonds.
• Interest in FinTech and investment management.
