TL;DR
Automotive Senior Technician (Automotive Repair): Diagnosing and repairing vehicle brake, hydraulic, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems with an accent on advanced drivability and electrical diagnostics. Focus on explaining technical findings to customers, mentoring technicians, and earning ASE certifications through paid training.
Location: 010030 Bellaire and 121, United States; onsite automotive service work
Salary: $20.60–$31.55 per hour, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus for first-time hires. Compensation uses a performance-based flat-rate model.

What you will do
- Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
- Perform general automotive maintenance and tire repairs to specification.
- Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to non-mechanical customers.
- Assist with and train technicians and mechanics on technical activities.
- Complete paid formal training and obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three A1–A8 areas within the first two years.
Requirements
- Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Demonstrated skill in brake and hydraulic systems and/or steering, suspension, and alignments.
- Skill in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
- Current federal, state, and local certifications or licenses where applicable.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people, along with reading, writing, and math skills.
- Employment eligibility verification through Form I-9 is required; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify applicants.
Nice to have
- Three years of automotive repair experience, relevant third-party assessments or certifications, or completion of a vocational-technical program.
- ASE certification in at least one A1–A8 area; L1 certification is acceptable.
