Senior Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance

Location: Del City, Oklahoma, United States; onsite at Walmart Supercenter 00544

Salary: $33.00–$63.00 per hour, plus possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and major or minor repairs for facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
• Use multiple craft skills, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment maintenance.
• Operate, inspect, and maneuver heavy machinery, powered equipment, vehicles, tools, hoists, and testing equipment.
• Lead work sites, determine project scopes, oversee less-experienced associates, and provide hands-on training in safety, troubleshooting, and system operations.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, contractors, parts inventory, purchases, warranties, invoices, and budget information.
• Maintain company vehicles, transport equipment, respond to emergency calls, and ensure completed work meets safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Vocational or technical certification plus 3 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related area, or 6 years of relevant experience.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions in the past five years.
• No more than two moving violations and no preventable commercial motor vehicle accidents in the past three years.
• No serious traffic violations under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations in the past three years.
• Ability to comply with OSHA, EPA, federal, state, and local safety and regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
