General Ledger Accountant / Senior Accountant (NetSuite)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California

Salary: $90,000–$135,000 annual base salary, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own general ledger accounting in NetSuite across multiple international legal entities.
• Support global tax compliance, including income tax, VAT/GST, statutory filings, and coordination with external tax advisors.
• Manage balance sheet accounts for international subsidiaries, including cash, intercompany, accruals, prepaids, payroll, and tax accounts.
• Execute monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and consolidation.
• Maintain intercompany billing, settlements, eliminations, and funding processes.
• Support global payroll accounting and multi-currency accounting, including foreign currency remeasurement and translation under US GAAP.

Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting or audit experience, ideally in SaaS or usage-based revenue environments.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including hands-on experience with ASC 740.
• Experience with US federal and state taxes, plus exposure to international tax frameworks such as VAT/GST and foreign corporate taxes.
• Proficiency with NetSuite, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
