Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Quincy, IL, USA

Salary: $67,600–$92,950 per year, plus a 10% annual incentive plan target.

What you will do

• Supervise technicians responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs across trucks, containers, and heavy equipment.
• Plan and schedule repair work while monitoring safety, productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Lead shop huddles, fleet walks, coaching, training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Oversee diagnostics and complex repairs involving engines, emissions, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC, and welding.
• Conduct quality-control inspections and verify outside repairs against company, federal, and state requirements.
• Manage parts inventory, maintenance records, payroll-related administration, budgets, and Dossier Maintenance Software records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of heavy-equipment maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience as a lead technician, supervisor, or manager.
• ASE certification, including T3 Drive, T4 Brake, T5 Suspension and Steering, T6 Electrical/Electronic, T7 HVAC Systems, ASE T2 Diesel Engine, and ASE T Master Certified.
• Thorough knowledge of safe work practices, DOT, OSHA, and other federal and state regulations.
