Field Project Manager (Prefabrication)

Location: Kyle, Texas; field coverage of Austin and surrounding areas. The position mainly works in the field with minimal in-office time and includes regular project-site visits.

UFP Site Built develops wood components, cold-formed steel prefabrication, and prefabricated aluminum decks and balconies for the construction industry.

What you will do

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying new regional opportunities.
• Visit jobsites regularly, resolve issues proactively, and ensure products and services are delivered professionally.
• Provide market feedback to support product and service improvements.
• Partner with Account Managers to promote product lines and support sales efforts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs across the region.
• Set up jobs, attend pre-construction meetings, and perform project drive-bys.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in construction or a related field.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work primarily in the field and regularly visit project sites in the Austin area.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing or prefabrication experience.
• Familiarity with UFP culture, products, and processes.
