Project Manager I (Construction)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; domestic travel of up to 50% required.

Salary: $125,237 per year.

What you will do

• Administer assigned phases of low-rise and mid-rise commercial construction projects valued at $1–$60+ million.
• Develop and control budgets, schedules, bid documents, cost projections, profit projections, and project status reports.
• Coordinate owners and clients, field superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, accounting, and construction management teams.
• Manage construction-site operations, jobsite coordination meetings, inspections, deliveries, punch lists, and project closeout.
• Prepare, negotiate, and award subcontracts and participate in sales presentations and design development.
• Supervise one Project Engineer Intern and share job cost responsibility with the supervising Project Manager or Director of Construction.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 24 months of experience in commercial construction involving low-rise and mid-rise buildings.
• At least 24 months of experience generating and tracking RFIs, coordinating shop drawings, verifying field dimensions, and tracking vendor and subcontractor deliveries.
• At least 24 months of experience completing punch list inspections, coordinating permit inspections, and monitoring punch list completion.
• At least 24 months of experience coordinating MEPFP and architectural/structural clashes using BIM models.
• At least 24 months of experience using Procore, Textura, Nexus, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks; employment eligibility in the United States must be verified.
