Solutions Architect (Data & AI)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for customer accounts from discovery through production deployment and consumption growth.
• Lead architecture discussions and design scalable solutions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, real-time analytics, streaming, and lakehouse patterns.
• Advise customer architects, engineering leads, and senior technical stakeholders on architecture, trade-offs, and business value.
• Drive competitive technical wins through custom-built solutions and platform demonstrations.
• Develop a technical specialization and coordinate DSAs, SSAs, and partners for complex customer engagements.
• Provide structured customer feedback to influence product direction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or a senior hands-on technical role.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL, including live coding, debugging, and solution building.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems, scalable pipelines, streaming architectures, lakehouse patterns, and cloud-native data platforms.
• Experience with production deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure, security, and governance.
• Ability to lead whiteboarding sessions, design reviews, and trade-off analysis with senior technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Databricks certifications in data engineering, ML, or the platform.
• Experience with Snowflake, AWS native services, or Azure Synapse.
• Background in a data/AI company or cloud provider.
• Industry expertise in financial services, healthcare, retail, media, or similar sectors.
