Senior Maintenance Technician – Utilities (Waste Water Treatment) – Day Shift

Location: Holly Springs, North Carolina, United States; onsite rotating day shift, 2-2-3 schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM

Salary: $83,593.25–$113,096.75 per year

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and optimize industrial wastewater treatment processes, including equalization, pH adjustment, chemical treatment, dissolved air flotation, sludge handling, and discharge systems.
• Monitor wastewater parameters and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal discharge permits.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pumps, mixers, valves, piping, chemical feed systems, instrumentation, and wastewater treatment equipment.
• Monitor SCADA, PLC, HMI, and automated control systems; respond to process alarms and emergency situations.
• Support utility systems including steam, chilled water, compressed air, cooling towers, clean steam, WFI, process gases, HVAC, and environmental control units.
• Complete maintenance documentation, work orders, compliance records, safety activities, equipment overhauls, and vendor coordination.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of water treatment operations or maintenance experience, or 2 years of technical school with hands-on water treatment operations or maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment operations and mechanical maintenance, including pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in a cGMP or other highly regulated environment.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, work independently, communicate task status, and collaborate constructively with teams.
• Ability to work onsite in Holly Springs, North Carolina, on a rotating 2-2-3 day shift and participate in an on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
