QA Engineer (Mobile Gaming)

Location: Remote, hybrid, or office-based from one of the listed locations: Albania, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, or The Netherlands.

Salary: EUR 1,400–2,400 per month gross. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Build and run test sessions from the Unity Editor, assemble builds, execute scenarios, and capture logs and performance data.
• Validate object placement, lighting, rendering, memory usage, prop behavior, collisions, geometry, and map seams against design references.
• Test level and map traversability, identifying non-traversable areas, geometric holes, and navigation issues.
• Run performance testing across the agreed device matrix, measuring average FPS, 1% Low FPS, memory peak, CPU load, and battery drain.
• Produce performance dashboards and raw profiler logs, support playtests and feature acceptance, and re-test fixes.
• Document map and level testing guidance to support onboarding and scalable QA delivery.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in GameDev.
• Hands-on experience with the Unity Editor, including scenes, hierarchy, GameObjects, Transforms, Layers, Tags, and Prefabs.
• Experience testing levels or maps, including object placement, collisions, geometry, and lighting in 2D or 3D environments.
• Ability to use design documentation and content specifications to create concrete test scenarios.
• English: Intermediate level or above required.

• Experience with mobile performance profiling, including FPS, memory, CPU load, battery drain, and raw profiler output.
