Senior QA Engineer

What you will do

• Perform manual and automated testing across Windows and macOS environments.
• Investigate complex defects through log analysis, system-state validation, Windows Registry checks, and macOS configuration analysis.
• Configure, use, and troubleshoot virtual machines for cross-platform compatibility.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria.
• Track, document, and report defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and automated tests for desktop and web applications.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of QA experience in desktop application testing on Windows/macOS and/or web testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in test automation and automation code development.
• Experience with Python, Java, or another object-oriented programming language.
• Experience configuring, using, and troubleshooting virtual machines.
• Knowledge of file systems, Windows Registry, macOS configuration structures, debugging, and log analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
