TL;DR
Quality Assurance Engineer (Test Automation/Azure): Developing scalable automated testing frameworks and suites for cloud-native Azure-based SaaS/PaaS insurance solutions with an accent on UI, API, integration, database, and end-to-end testing. Focus on integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, standardizing QA practices across Agile teams, and validating highly available multi-regional applications.
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work model with an expectation to be in the office at least 50% of the time.
Salary: EUR 2,800–4,600 per month for a full-time role, plus potential performance-based rewards and benefits.

What you will do
- Own and evolve the automation strategy within a product engineering team.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute scalable automated test frameworks and suites across multiple product lines.
- Perform QA testing across user interfaces, services, REST APIs, integrations, and databases.
- Identify, report, troubleshoot, and validate defects with software engineering teams.
- Integrate test automation tools, build verification systems, IDE plugins, and linting programs.
- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and support infrastructure reliability.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous testing practices.
- Experience standardizing QA processes and best practices across Agile teams.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing across UI, API, integration, and database layers.
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, Postman or Bruno, and Enterprise Java technologies.
- Experience with regression, integration, compatibility, end-to-end, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps.
Nice to have
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Sitespeed, K6, or JMeter.
- Experience testing Azure and Kubernetes applications, including AKS.
- Experience with Grafana, Azure Monitor, or other monitoring platforms.
- Insurance, reinsurance, or financial services domain experience.
