Senior Controls Design Engineer (Gas Turbines)

What you will do

• Own electrical and controls engineering activities throughout project lifecycles for small gas turbine modernisation and upgrade projects.
• Develop and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and design solutions for turbine package modifications.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements while addressing obsolescence across the installed fleet.
• Support technical discussions with customers and stakeholders during manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, standardisation, and lessons-learned activities.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent accreditation in control systems, electrical, instrumentation, software, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong technical ownership, communication, structured problem-solving, and project organisation skills.
• Ability to provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Familiarity with change and configuration management tools and project management software.
• Experience with gas turbine technology or similar industrial products is advantageous.
