Quality Engineer (Additive Manufacturing)

Location: Office/site only in Rural Hall, North Carolina, United States; the role supports the additive manufacturing operation in Winston-Salem, NC.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain the site's Quality Management System and related documentation.
• Lead internal and external audits and manage CAPA, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.
• Monitor additive manufacturing production processes, quality standards, specifications, and process controls.
• Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and manage supplier qualification and performance.
• Lead, train, and develop quality professionals and technicians while promoting consistent quality practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing a QMS and working with ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
• Experience with audits, CAPA, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, SPC, quality data analysis, and manufacturing quality control.
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing processes and experience resolving product, process, and supplier quality issues.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice to have

• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
• CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Additional experience may qualify candidates for a higher level.
