Automotive Technician

Location: Sandy Plains, United States. Onsite automotive service role. Employment requires completion of Form I-9; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify applicants.

Pay range: $17.50–$26.30, with performance-based flat-rate compensation.

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Maintain tires, repair tires, and install batteries and other parts.
• Check electrical systems and road-test vehicles.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and provide service support.
• Obtain or maintain an A.S.E. certification in at least one A1–A8 area within the first two years.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform automotive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Preferred: two years of automotive repair experience, vocational-technical training, or demonstrated skills through certifications or assessment.
• Preferred: A.S.E. certification or equivalent training.
