Automotive Technician C Tech (Automotive)

Location: Brooklyn Park, United States; on-site automotive service role.

Pay range: $19.25–$28.93 per hour with flat-rate, performance-based compensation. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for first-time hires.

What you will do

• Change oil and complete scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, brake, and other vehicle systems.
• Perform tire maintenance, install batteries and parts, and check electrical systems.
• Road-test customer and company vehicles.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and provide service support.
• Obtain or maintain at least one A.S.E. certification from A1–A8 within the first two years.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform general automotive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, vehicle inspections, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Preferred: two years of automotive repair experience, vocational-technical training, or demonstrated equivalent skills.
• Employment eligibility verification is required; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify candidates.

• A.S.E. certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications.
