Quality Technician (Food Safety)

Location: Hamburg, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite at a manufacturing facility. The role requires rotating 12-hour day or night shifts.

What you will do

• Execute food safety, quality, and laboratory requirements across the facility.
• Collect in-process and finished-product samples and perform qualitative and quantitative testing.
• Perform aseptic testing for microbial contamination and document test results.
• Calibrate laboratory and production-line equipment and assist with batching chemicals and ingredients.
• Identify, isolate, and follow up on non-conforming products and support troubleshooting.
• Review quality records and participate in plant teams, including HACCP and safety teams.

Requirements

• English: full professional communication required.
• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• No prior experience is required; experience in a manufacturing or related field is preferred.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day or night shifts in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and follow GMP requirements, including required protective clothing and equipment.
• HACCP certification is preferred.
