Account Specialist (Insurance)

What you will do

• Support Account Managers and Account Executives on large and complex client accounts.
• Prepare coverage comparisons, submissions, premium and rate comparisons, audits, and other account analyses.
• Interact with clients regarding special program needs, new assignments, and unique service expectations.
• Process loss analysis, invoicing, allocation spreadsheets, endorsements, billing, cancellations, and deductible analysis.
• Maintain complete account records in the AMS, including policies, schedules, and driver lists.
• Review certificates of insurance and support industry-specific reporting, internal reviews, and special client projects.

Requirements

• Applicable insurance experience; specialty experience is preferred.
• Strong insurance knowledge and attention to detail.
• General insurance designation achieved; additional insurance designations are preferred.
• Project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Limited travel required, less than 10%.
