Project Engineer Intern (Construction)

Location: Austin, United States; employment eligibility to work in the U.S. is required

What you will do

• Assist the project team with the completion of designated construction projects.
• Build working knowledge of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
• Learn job-site coordination, project scheduling, quality control, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, construction management, or a closely related field.
• Must be within 18 months of graduation.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week for at least three months.
• Working knowledge of estimating techniques and cost-control methods is advantageous.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural and engineering drawings.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.
