Outside Sales Professional (Pest Control)

Location: Farmingdale, NY, United States; travel up to 100% within assigned territories

Base pay: $36,500–$44,500 yearly. Year 1 on-target earnings: $70,000+; top earner potential: $100,000+ per year, including uncapped commission.

What you will do

• Inspect residential properties for pests, entry points, and harborage areas.
• Consult with customers and sell pest control services, preventative maintenance, and additional solutions.
• Develop customer proposals, follow up on open opportunities, and close sales.
• Collaborate with customer service, inside sales, technicians, and the branch manager to grow revenue.
• Create home diagrams and maintain daily sales activity in the sales CRM.
• Provide product expertise during new service installations to support satisfactory completion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain the vehicle and equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 100% within assigned territories.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and 11–20 pounds frequently, climb, crouch, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
• Comfort working around common pests and using personal protective equipment when required.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience.
• Related sales training or experience.
