Additive Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and improve manufacturing methods for prototype development and low-volume production.
• Prepare and optimize print files, materials, and print parameters.
• Build repeatable post-processing, painting, finishing, inspection, and assembly workflows.
• Create and update manufacturing work instructions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Troubleshoot printing issues, improve machine utilization, and support equipment and material qualification and preventive maintenance.
• Design, fabricate, and validate rapid tooling while coordinating prototype builds and process improvements with Design Engineering and Prototype teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
• 3+ years of technical experience in additive manufacturing or a similar role.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with electronic or electromechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of engineering documentation, CAD models, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and prototype or production builds.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employment authorization is confirmed through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD software and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, painting, and finishing across various materials.
