Actuary 2 - Enterprise Risk Management

Location: Bloomington, Illinois, United States

Base salary: $91,600–$125,950 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Build actuarial assumptions and models using actuarial software, data visualization applications, programming languages, and Microsoft Office.
• Work with risk owners and senior management to identify, assess, and report significant risks across the enterprise.
• Develop risk assessments, risk metrics, and actuarial model results for property and casualty, life and health, and banking businesses.
• Prepare and present reports to executive management and business partners.
• Consult with management and influence strategies related to risk management, product pricing, profitability, and markets.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Typically 3–5 completed actuarial exams or online courses.
• Actively pursue or hold actuarial credentials through the Casualty Actuarial Society or Society of Actuaries.
• Progress toward ACAS, ASA, or CERA-level designation and maintain continuing education credits.
