Supply Chain Sustainability Specialist

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid work with remote work possible and in-person presence required from time to time

What you will do

• Implement supply chain sustainability strategies and translate ESG goals into scalable initiatives.
• Develop sustainability tools, platforms, supplier databases, and EcoVadis-related processes.
• Engage suppliers through communications, webinars, conferences, workshops, and sustainability dialogues.
• Identify and manage ESG risks, conduct supply chain due diligence, and define mitigation actions.
• Establish KPIs, prepare data for reporting and audits, and evaluate the impact and cost-benefit of sustainability initiatives.
• Monitor ESG regulations and provide recommendations that balance sustainability, resilience, cost, and business performance.

Requirements

• University degree in Sustainability, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in supply chain sustainability.
• Hands-on experience with supply chain due diligence and sustainability assessment tools such as EcoVadis.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and strong strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, is required.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders.
