Location: Onsite at HSHS - St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin; candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $17.00–$18.15 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

  • Perform admitting, pre-registration, demographic collection, and patient account setup.
  • Collect and verify insurance information, select insurance plan codes, and review eligibility and benefit data.
  • Conduct medical necessity screening, distribute ABNs and other required forms, and obtain patient or guarantor signatures.
  • Process physician orders, explain consent and patient education documents, and collect point-of-service payments and past-due balances.
  • Operate the hospital telephone switchboard and provide compassionate customer service.
  • Audit accounts, maintain accurate records, and provide statistical data to Patient Access leadership.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Must be inquisitive and open to innovation, including AI-enabled process improvements.
  • CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire.
  • Must work onsite in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
