Senior Software Engineer (Cloud/GovCloud)

Location: Remote within the United States; access from foreign locations and foreign IP addresses is blocked. Quarterly travel to an office or client site may be required. Core work hours are 8am–5pm Eastern Time, with flexibility to start earlier or work later based on time zone.

Salary: $98,614–$167,644 per year.

What you will do

• Lead requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment across the full SDLC.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure applications using Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript.
• Develop and optimize Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database solutions.
• Build, support, and troubleshoot cloud solutions and integrations in AWS GovCloud.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps teams in an Agile environment.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, debugging, documentation, compliance activities, and executive-level status briefings.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• 8+ years of experience supporting the full SDLC for secure, enterprise-level applications.
• Experience developing with Java or Kotlin and TypeScript using object-oriented design principles and modern development frameworks.
• Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization and data integrity.
• Experience with AWS and secure cloud environments, including architecture, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, code reviews, version control, and CI/CD pipelines; a related bachelor's degree and DCSA experience are preferred.
