Senior Functional Analyst (Agile/SAFe)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; candidates from California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Washington will not be considered

Salary: $78,167–$103,855 per year

What you will do

• Lead the capture, analysis, validation, and documentation of business, functional, cross-functional, and technical requirements.
• Conduct user interviews, facilitate requirements and backlog refinement sessions, and develop process models, specifications, epics, and user stories.
• Manage requirements, testing, defects, traceability, change control, risks, issues, and project artifacts in JIRA and other ALM processes.
• Coordinate with customers, business and product owners, systems engineers, developers, stakeholders, and contractors throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
• Track and report program and product execution status and metrics using SAFe and Scrum practices.
• Serve as a functional subject matter expert, support Sprint teams, remove impediments, and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
• Ten years of professional experience; an additional ten years may substitute for education.
• Strong software development background and experience with Agile and Scaled Agile Framework methodologies.
• Expertise with JIRA, advanced Microsoft Office including Excel, and experience with large Agile software development or data integration projects.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline, or an accepted experience substitution.

Nice to have

• Experience with the VA Veterans Independence Program, VA SQA testing, or a federal health agency.
• Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master certification.
• Knowledge of healthcare billing and claims processing applications.
