Procurement Manager (Avionics)

What you will do

• Lead supplier delivery performance and material availability to support uninterrupted production and customer commitments.
• Manage the Buyers team and develop supplier performance processes, including scorecards, business reviews, recovery plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Operations, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management on production execution and future demand requirements.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies for business continuity and customer delivery.
• Drive procurement KPIs, including supplier on-time delivery and cost reduction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience managing procurement or buying teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience working in a global environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP.
