Procurement Agent (Associate, Mid-Level, or Senior) (Aerospace)

Location: Wichita, Kansas, United States; onsite.

Salary: Associate level (Level 2) $54,550–$83,650; Mid-level (Level 3) $73,050–$112,000; Senior level (Level 4) $93,800–$143,800.

What you will do

• Manage supplier relationships and ensure quality materials and services are delivered on time to support production.
• Lead sourcing activities, including RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, contract awards, and ongoing supplier management.
• Act as an authorized company representative for procurement transactions, contracts, and purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory, supplier performance, and material demand to maintain supply chain continuity.
• Identify efficiency, cost-saving, and risk-mitigation opportunities with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Analyze planning and supply chain data and collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and other functions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, purchasing, or a related area, preferably in aerospace, manufacturing, or raw materials.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across all organizational levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, programs, parts, and supplier-related activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and data-driven approach, including interpreting data, identifying trends, and supporting business decisions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP, and with managing large datasets.
• Experience influencing stakeholders and driving business outcomes through collaboration and problem-solving.

Nice to have

• For Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• For Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, or raw materials procurement operations.
• Project management experience with cross-functional initiatives and supplier-driven projects.
• Experience with process improvement, cost reduction, or supply chain optimization initiatives.
• Knowledge of manufacturing materials, production planning, and supply chain best practices.
