Associate Procurement Agent (Aerospace)

Location: Wichita, Kansas, United States; onsite, union-represented position

Salary: $54,550–$83,650 annually, based on experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations

What you will do

• Synchronize supply chain activities for obtaining goods and services, ensuring quality parts are delivered to the right place at the right time.
• Act as an authorized company agent by managing supplier activities and committing company resources through contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.
• Develop requests for quotations and proposals, analyze supplier responses, negotiate and award contracts, and manage post-award supplier activities.
• Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
• Monitor customer demand and material assets to optimize supply chain planning and reduce material and product variability.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a supply chain role, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
• Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High-energy, dynamic personality with the ability to effect change.

Nice to have

• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge or experience in manufacturing, manufacturing materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with MRP systems, with preference for SAP experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• MBA.
