Device Engineer (Avionics)

Location: Complete on-site at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; day-one on-site required. Travel to an Arrow client office may be requested by client leadership.

Annual salary: $79,900–$130,900.

What you will do

• Develop and verify flight management systems for avionics applications.
• Perform DO-178 DAL A verification activities.
• Develop high-level and low-level requirements from system requirements.
• Analyze system-level architectural requirements and use them to design and develop software requirements.
• Develop test cases and execute test procedures, including dry runs and RFS-related activities.
• Review technical artifacts, generate test results and reports, and develop support utilities to reduce cycle time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Experience developing test cases and executing test procedures.
• Ability to generate test results and execution reports.
• Ability to perform technical analysis and review engineering artifacts.
• Ability to coordinate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Ability to work on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa from day one.
