What you will do

• Integrate onboard software stacks onto flight hardware, including flight controllers and companion compute.
• Own the ground-control software and operator interface for multi-platform operation.
• Plan and execute end-to-end test campaigns, covering instrumentation and safety coordination.
• Perform post-test data analysis to validate and gate program milestones.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, perception, navigation, and autonomy teams.

Requirements

• Background in robotics or systems software engineering.
• Proficiency with ROS 2 and Linux-based systems.
• Experience with MAVLink and PX4/ArduPilot.
• Experience developing ground control stations (GCS) or human-machine interfaces (HMI).
• Hands-on test experience with robotic platforms or small aircraft using Python or MATLAB.
• Must be based onsite in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Part 107 certification or experience with airspace authorization.
• Front-end development experience for operator interfaces.
• Experience supporting field test operations.
