Staff Software Engineer (GRC Infrastructure)

Location: Aarhus Office, Denmark

Salary: 79,000–89,000 DKK per month

What you will do

• Lead complex technical projects end to end and guide the platform toward flexible, secure, and high-performance architecture.
• Own critical product components and modules that form the scalable foundation of the platform.
• Provide technical direction during architectural and software-design discussions and help unblock engineers across the organisation.
• Define engineering standards, create reference implementations, and improve code quality and performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design to shape solutions and oversee implementations.
• Drive improvements to technical debt, observability, deployment flows, and testing practices.

Requirements

• Professional experience designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable production systems.
• Ability to define technical direction and lead deep architectural and software-design sessions.
• Expertise in at least one layer of the stack, particularly PHP or Angular, with strong software architecture and system-design fundamentals.
• Direct experience with Domain-Driven Design and the ability to produce reliable, extensible, simple, and performant code.
• Experience improving deployment, observability, testing, and engineering practices.
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs, mentor senior engineers, and improve engineering velocity.
