HR Manager

Location: Based at the Sky Campus in Osterley, with regular presence at the hirify.global office in Central London; international travel to the USA and other NBC News locations may be required.

What you will do

• Provide practical HR advice and business partnership to managers and employees across NBC News International.
• Lead employee relations matters, including investigations, performance issues, difficult conversations, and escalation of high-risk cases.
• Deliver performance management, compensation, benefits, talent, learning, development, and engagement programmes.
• Coordinate international HR operations with Payroll, HR Operations, Legal, Global Mobility, Immigration, Finance, and Talent Acquisition.
• Oversee international payroll, HR data, workforce reporting, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Govern the international freelance workforce, including contracts, records, reporting, and adoption of a freelance management system.

Requirements

• Proven HR manager or HR business partner experience in a fast-paced, complex organisation; media or news experience is preferred.
• Strong end-to-end employee relations experience, including investigations, performance management, and manager coaching.
• Experience with organisational change, talent initiatives, workforce planning, and employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, with confidence using multiple HR platforms.
• Ability to supervise and develop junior HR team members, handle sensitive information discreetly, and work autonomously.

• Experience managing or developing junior HR team members.
• CIPD qualification.
• Experience in media or news.
