Freight & Logistics Shipping Event Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Own global transportation operations end to end, ensuring shipments are delivered on time and cost-effectively.
• Lead and mentor logistics coordinators across multiple time zones, assigning work and strategic projects.
• Coordinate transportation needs with production, finance, legal, tax, and external transport partners.
• Define, monitor, and report KPIs and SLAs covering delivery performance, costs, and response times.
• Manage carrier, 3PL, and freight-forwarder relationships, including contract and pricing negotiations.
• Oversee billing, forecasting, capacity planning, escalation resolution, training, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in transportation or logistics.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English is required.
• Experience negotiating contracts and pricing with carriers, 3PLs, or freight forwarders.
• Experience with ERP systems, Excel or Google Sheets, data visualization, KPI tracking, analytical problem-solving, and cross-time-zone coordination.

• Additional language skills.
• Experience with live-event transportation and temporary importations.
