Market Performance Associate - Ocean Gateway

What you will do

• Own ground performance strategy and planning for assigned markets, targeting more than 95% destination on-time performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with terminals, shipping lines, rail providers, warehouses, truckers, and drayage partners.
• Develop dashboards and performance reports covering trucking SLAs, forecasts, milestones, pickups, and deliveries.
• Onboard, train, and coach drayage carrier dispatchers on the Transmission product and provide ongoing product support.
• Recommend carrier assignments and volume allocations while supporting trucking procurement and onboarding priorities.
• Implement new FCL/LCL destination business, develop SOPs, monitor shipments, and resolve service escalations.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and/or at least 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and metric-driven problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of ground transportation, including import and/or export operations from sales, operational, or procurement perspectives.
• Experience building and maintaining strong vendor relationships and partnering with product teams.
• Strong knowledge of analytical tools, including Excel, SQL, Looker, and Snowflake, with experience manipulating data and building reports or dashboards.
• Ability to combine strategic planning with hands-on execution.
