Location: Blainville, Quebec, Canada; based at a client location in Mirabel, Quebec

What you will do

  • Manage multiple material and process tasks within time and budget constraints, identifying blockers and providing accurate estimates.
  • Evaluate and recommend materials and specialized processes for aerospace applications based on performance criteria and industry specifications.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce production costs, and maintain product quality.
  • Support qualification of materials, parts, and technologies by assessing performance under diverse environmental conditions.
  • Prepare and maintain qualification test plans, reports, material specifications, and process instructions.
  • Resolve technical issues and non-conformities through analysis of relevant documents and engineering drawings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in metallurgy, materials science, chemistry, composites, or an equivalent field.
  • Experience with metallurgy and forging processes.
  • Fluent written and spoken English required.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with cross-functional, multicultural teams.
  • Adaptable, autonomous, self-driven, and highly organized in dynamic work environments.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of titanium-related materials and processes.
  • Experience with composites, surface treatment, painting, product safety, or chemistry.
  • Aerospace or automotive industry experience.
  • Intermediate French.
