NDI Level 2 (Ultrasonic Inspection)

What you will do

• Evaluate materials, components, and systems using ultrasonic non-destructive inspection methods, including UTT and PE Linear Array.
• Set up and standardize NDI equipment, process parts, interpret results, and document acceptance or rejection decisions.
• Conduct system performance checks and develop in-process inspection techniques from approved procedures.
• Lead Level 1 NDI technicians within the scope of Level 2 qualifications and provide guidance or supervision to trainees.
• Perform audit surveillance, prepare for audits, document non-conformances, and participate in RCCA events.
• Work independently during off-shift periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and travel approximately 5% domestically or internationally.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Ultrasonic Level II certification is required.
• At least 80 hours of documented formal classroom training in NDI techniques, including ultrasonic inspection.
• At least 800 hours of documented directly related NDI experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to explain complex issues.
• Must work onsite 100% and be able to use required PPE and perform duties in manufacturing areas, including working at heights up to 40 feet.
