Certification Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: 100% onsite in the Mobile Area, Alabama, United States. The role requires flexible shift work, including rotational evenings and weekends, with 5% domestic and international travel.

What you will do

• Lead and conduct airworthiness approvals for hirify.global products and product changes with certificating authorities.
• Validate approvals with authorities in importing countries.
• Manage multi-ATA and multi-program certification workloads while ensuring compliance with certification requirements and DOA processes.
• Approve modifications, Service Bulletins, Repair & Design Approval Forms, and Aircraft Design Declarations.
• Coordinate with global certification, aircraft delivery, technical, change management, and certification teams.
• Support customer acceptance of individual aircraft and interface with airworthiness authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in engineering, airworthiness, or certification roles.
• Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, organization, and team-motivation skills.
• Ability to interpret a wide range of technical aircraft topics and mentor others within the discipline.
• Current authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this US position.
• Ability to work any shift, including rotational evenings and weekends.

Nice to have

• Nomination as a Designated Airworthiness Engineer or Compliance Verification Engineer.
• Experience with hirify.global aircraft.
• Familiarity with MOD, SB, and RDAF deliverables, in-service solutions, and change or configuration management.
