Quality Control Technician (Mining)

Location: Woodville, Ohio, United States; on-site work involving aggregate sampling, laboratory testing, travel, standing, lifting samples, and exposure to heat, dust, and noise.

What you will do

• Perform aggregate sampling, testing, and analysis.
• Verify that aggregate production meets federal, state, and customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and complete government and customer reports.
• Communicate test results to plant, sales, construction, engineering, and government stakeholders.
• Investigate customer complaints involving discrepancies between test results and delivered aggregate.
• Clean, maintain, and organize laboratory equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of aggregate quality-control data, production processes, and stockpiling practices.
• Experience with aggregate laboratory equipment and strong mathematical and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to operate assigned machinery and equipment safely.
• Ability to lift aggregate samples weighing approximately 50 pounds and stand or walk for approximately eight hours.
• Must complete ODOT Level 1 and Level 2 certification.
