Security Architect (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design and develop secure private and sovereign cloud architectures for NHS, government, and regulated-industry customers.
• Lead requirements gathering, threat modeling, architecture reviews, technical assessments, and security planning.
• Develop and implement security frameworks, policies, standards, controls, and roadmaps based on ISO 27001/27002 and NIST 800-53.
• Define security baselines for IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs, operating systems, and BYOD environments.
• Interpret certification vulnerabilities, define remediation plans and mitigating controls, and support exception processes.
• Advise product teams and customers on security strategies, controls, governance, and secure system development.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of NHS and healthcare environments, clinical data protection, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of hirify.global infrastructure, architecture, technology impacts, troubleshooting, design, and implementation.
• Experience with AI and machine learning, cloud computing, cybersecurity, DevOps coding, and network or systems technologies.
• CISSP certification is essential.
• Client-facing experience and the ability to work across interconnected technologies and platforms.

Nice to have

• ISSAP certification.
• CISM, GIAC, Cisco, Microsoft SC100, or other relevant vendor certification.
