Quality Control Technician - Mining

Location: Upper Sandusky, Ohio, United States; homebase at the Upper Sandusky location. Variable working hours and travel required.

What you will do

• Perform aggregate sampling, testing, and analysis against federal, state, and customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate testing records and complete governmental and customer reports.
• Clean, maintain, and organize the laboratory and its supplies.
• Communicate test results to plant, sales, construction, and government personnel.
• Investigate customer complaints involving discrepancies between test results and delivered aggregate.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of aggregate quality control data, production processes, and stockpiling practices.
• Experience with aggregate laboratory equipment and strong mathematical and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to operate assigned machinery and equipment safely.
• Ability to lift aggregate samples weighing approximately 50 pounds and stand or walk for approximately eight hours.
• Must complete ODOT Level 1 and Level 2 certification; working conditions include heat, dust, and noise.
