Salary: $16.63–$24.99 pay range; performance-based flat-rate compensation may vary by available work, productivity, and experience.

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance, install parts, and repair tires.
• Road test customer and company vehicles.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and answer service questions.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform general automotive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, vehicle inspections, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver’s license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Obtain or maintain an A.S.E. certification in at least one area from A1–A8 within the first two years of employment.
• Must complete Form I-9 employment eligibility verification; temporary work authorization or need for sponsorship may disqualify candidates.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Vocational-technical training in a related field or demonstrated skills through third-party certificates or assessments.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent training credentials.
