Inventory Control Specialist

What you will do

• Monitor warehouse inventory integrity and maintain accurate records in the Retail Management System.
• Complete physical inventories, cycle counts, random audits, aisle audits, and reconciliations.
• Research inventory discrepancies, correct variances, and report overages, shortages, and damaged products.
• Audit compliance with operational procedures and publish weekly and quarterly inventory metrics.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend process improvements to increase inventory accuracy and turns.
• Train staff in inventory control techniques and coordinate improvements across operational departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to operate powered equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work is based at the Upper Marlboro, Maryland facility.
