Senior Manager, Government Affairs – UK (Biopharma)

What you will do

• Support the development and execution of hirify.global’s Government Affairs strategy across the UK.
• Engage with parliamentarians, government representatives, civil servants, agencies, industry associations, and healthcare stakeholders.
• Analyse legislation, regulation, political developments, and public policy trends affecting vaccines and innovative biopharmaceuticals.
• Develop clear policy positions, stakeholder strategies, and external engagement projects to support hirify.global’s priorities.
• Collaborate with Communications, Medical, Marketing, and Market Access teams and manage relevant third-party vendors.
• Explore Generative AI applications for policy intelligence, trend identification, analysis, and change.

Requirements

• Based in London, England and able to work under a 70/30 in-office model.
• Degree in Health Policy, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
• Strong public policy and legislative background with experience engaging external stakeholders and developing policy positions.
• Experience identifying trends affecting the health sector or innovative biopharmaceutical industry; vaccine policy knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, communication, diplomacy, discretion, and ability to influence without authority.
• Experience in government, an industry association, healthcare systems, or stakeholder management, with sound analytical judgment and high ethical standards.

• Understanding of vaccines policy.
• Experience applying AI and Generative AI to policy and change.
