Manufacturing Technician - Assembly

What you will do

• Assemble dry gas seals safely into test cells using hand and power tools.
• Clean seal components, update incoming seal records, and maintain test-cell sub-component data and storage locations.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain documentation for test-cell assembly.
• Troubleshoot seal assembly issues and maintain high productivity.
• Complete weekly 5S audits, participate in continuous improvement activities and daily SPQCD meetings.
• Train other technicians when required and perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in the oil and gas or rotating equipment industry.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience with fine measurements and good Microsoft Office skills.
• Understanding of continuous improvement and related tools.
• Assembly or testing experience with gas seals is advantageous.
